Admission Procedure

Admission is granted as per merit and in accordance with the norms laid down by Government of Maharashtra and university of Mumbai. Our college linguistic minority institution where 50% of seat are reserved for students from sindhi community .

Reservation for backward classes will be specified by Government subject to fulfillment of conditions of admissions. However, if any seat remains vacant after the prescribed time limit then students belonging to general category will be admitted. Students not submitting the caste certificate will not get the above or any other benefit.

Eligibility

Eligibility for admission to F.Y. B.Com

A candidate for being for admission to F.Y.B.Com to the three year degree course leading to bachelor of commerce must have passed H.S.C. (Std. XII) examination conducted by the deferent divisional boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education

OR

Must have passed the H.S.C.(std XII) examination with vocational subjects/minimum competency based  vocational course conducted by the different divisional boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.

OR

Must have passed an examination of another university or body recognized as equivalent to H.S.C. (std XII) examination.

 

Eligibility for Admission to F.Y.B.M.S.

A candidate for being for admission to F.Y.B.Com to the three year degree course shall have passed HSC examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination or diploma in any engineering branches with 2 or 3 years duration after SSC Conducted by the Board of Technical Education ,  Maharashtra State or its equivalent examination by securing minimum 45% marks for general category in(in one attempt) at the respective examination and minimum 40% marks for the reserved category(One attempt).

 

Eligibility for Admission to F.Y.B.Sc.(IT)

A candidate for being eligible for admission to F.Y.B.Sc. (IT) shall have pass HSC (std XII) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject and should have secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate for open category and 40% marks in  aggregate in case of reserved category candidates.

 

Eligibility for Admission to F.Y.B.Sc.(CS)

A candidate for being eligible for admission to F.Y.B.Sc. (CS) shall have pass HSC (std XII) examination in science stream conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and higher Secondary Education or its equivalent with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subject.

 

Formalities for the student who have passed HSC examination from other than Maharashtra state

A Candidate passing H.S.C. examination from university /Board/Body other than Maharashtra state will be admitted on production of a “Provisional Eligibility Certificate” issued by University of Mumbai, such a student shall also submit a migration certificate, statement of marks and passing certificate , Transfer certificate in original along with true copies within 2 months from the date of admission , failing which their admission is liable to be cancelled.

 

Documents required  for admission :

Original mark sheet of HSC examination along with two attested Xerox copies

Two attested Xerox copies of Std. Xth Passing Certificate.

Two attested Xerox copies of Std. Xth Leaving Certificate.

Students migrating from other colleges must submit original leaving certificate of Std. XII along with two attested Xerox copies.

Four coloured copies of recent passport size photographs (size 35mm X 45mm).

Students seeking admission for the F.Y.B.Com. class will have to fill “Enrolment Form”. Failures to fill enrolment form in time IPSO – FACTO mean cancellation of admission. Similarly non – admission of H.S.C. Board Certificate within prescribed time limit will result in cancellation of admission.
