Eligibility for Scholarship / Freeship only

» Scholarship for SC/ST Category – Family annual income limit must be up to Rs.200000.

»OBC/NT/DT/SBC Category – Family income limit must range between Rs.49000 to Rs.100000 – (50%) Scholarship.

»OBC/NT/DT/SBC Category – Family annual income limit must be below Rs.49000 (100%) Scholarship.

»Students from OBC/NT/DT/SBC category having income above Rs.200000 will get freeship. The candidates who want to claim freeship should submit the required documents at the time of admission.

»The students from other than Maharashtra State are not eligible for Scholarship/Freeship schemes.



An application for Scholarship / Freeship should be attached with:

»One copy of the application for scholarship / freeship in the prescribed form (separate application form has been prescribed for fresh and renewal scholarship) .

»One copy of the passport size photograph with signature of the candidate thereon (for fresh scholarship).

»One attested Xerox copy of each certificate qualifying for admission to the course i.e. Diploma, Degree etc. all examination passed.

»One photocopy of Caste certificate – Original caste certificate issued and duly signed by an authorized revenue officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.

»An income declaration by the parents/ guardian/ own stating definite income from all sources of last year i.e. 2012-13 . Income certificate from Tahsildar or Form NO. 16A (as per circular number 1749 dated 14.06.2008 by Spl. District Social Welfare Officer, Mumbai Suburban.

»Non creamy layer certificate for VJ/NT/OBC/SBC.

»Gap certificate if there is a gap in education.

»If a student was in receipt of a scholarship under this scheme during the preceding year, he/she is required to attach a receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship received during proceeding year duly countersigned by the principal of concerned college that he/she had attended the college during the previous year.

»Application complete in all respect shall be submitted to the principal of the college.

»Incomplete application or application received after prescribed date will not be considered.

NOTE: If scholarship/freeship is not sanctioned by the Government for any reason then applicant will have to pay the entire fees to college.
